Filmmaker Vasantha Balan, who is eagerly expecting the release of ‘Angadi Theru’, is ready for his next. “Script is being penned right now. An announcement will be made soon,” he says.

Saying that he would make a historic movie with heavy budget in future, Vasantha Balan however adds his focus is on portraying human emotions on screen. “I was born and brought up in a milieu where utmost importance was given to relations. So my concentration would be on throwing light on it,” he says.

“A common man is my hero. He has got a bundle of untold stories in him. Sadly, no films are being made on him,” the filmmaker, whose ‘Veyyil’ won international recognition, says.

On ‘Angadi Theru’, he says, “the movie produced by Ayngaran International is about a young man and woman, who work in a retail outlet. Quiet like my earlier ventures, ‘Angadi Theru’ too will be full of realistic emotions.”
